Annual National Security Seminar

The National Security Seminars are organised annually as part of the National Defence College 
curriculum. It attracts participants from the academia, civil society organisations, traditional 
institutions, military and members of the AANDEC from across the country and africa.
Currently, we have begun to use opportunities provided by the National Security Seminars, not 
only to reach out to other professional associations; but also for cross-fertilization of ideas with 
other professionals, NGOs and similar bodies to strengthen the National Security architecture of 
Nigeria.

The Association also organises roundtables, exhibitions and most importantly make in-roads, 
particularly to sister African countries to form synergies. To enhance this, AANDEC Consult 
Limited has been incorporated as an out-reach company to use AANDEC expertise to address 
Security and developmental issues at all levels of our nationhood. 
It is expected that the wide range of expertise and knowledge base available within the AANDEC 
fold would be brought to bear towards achieving the objectives for which the AANDEC and 
AANDEC Consult were established.
